The role
- Maintenance of complete accounting of companies in the group, in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards (FAR),
- Monitoring and control of accounting books, analysis of data in the accounting system,
- Supervision of coordination of settlements with suppliers, customers and public law,
- Responsibility for periodic accounting closures (monthly, quarterly, annually),
- Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with the FAR
- Preparation of tax declarations (CIT, VAT, PIT) and the company's representation before tax authorities,
- Cooperation with external auditors, external advisors including tax advisors and external institutions ((GUS, NBP, US, ZUS),
- Verification, control and archive of the company's documentation,
- Handling employee salaries (payroll) and overseeing the process of employee business trips,
- Monitoring of all accounting and tax aspects of the company's operations, as well as changes in tax and financial laws and implementing relevant modifications when needed,
- Creation and optimization of the company's internal procedures and organization for accounting,
- Responsibility for accounting policy and accounts plan in accordance with specified reporting standards,
- Assistance to the company's management on optimal accounting, financial and tax solutions.
The requirements
- Higher economic education (finance/accounting),
- Several years of experience working in an independent position in accounting, including experience in carrying out the duties of Chief Accountant,
- Excellent knowledge of tax laws and rules and accounting principles,
- Expertise in banking procedures, banking and fiscal rules,
- Experience in working with ERP systems, proficiency in Comarch Optima modules will be an advantage,
- Very good knowledge of Excel,
- Ability to work in a team and high communication skills,
- English language at a level that allows communication,
- Excellent ability to organize own work, independence,
- Ability to set priorities and take initiative
