Artificial Intelligence in leasing practice
The workshop was opened by Krzysztof Goworek, CEO of TUATARA, and Monika Constant, president of ZPL, who, in their speeches, emphasised the importance of modern technologies and their role in increasing the efficiency of leasing companies. This was followed by crucial workshop sessions led by TUATARA experts Marcin Majka, Product Owner of the FINTIN platform and Patryk Kozłowski, Product Manager of Actionbot.
During the workshop, participants not only had the opportunity to listen to presentations on key trends and AI technologies but also to work on real-life examples of the application of AI technologies in specific process steps. The workshop participants were divided into four groups. Each chose one leasing process to be mapped in the ‘AS-IS’ version (current state). The groups focused on methods such as mandates, complaints, bidding and contract initiation. They then analysed which stages AI could be applied to speed up operations, eliminate errors or improve the customer experience. This was a ‘CAN-BE’ version of the analysis, i.e. the possible state after AI implementation.
AI theory and practice for leasing
The second part was more of a lecture. Patryk Kozłowski, one of our speakers, told the participants about how AI is changing the market and how significant this transformation is. He discussed what benefits and opportunities AI brings to a company, including:
- reduced expenses,
- faster handling and sharing of data,
- agility of decision-making.
Additionally, he presented the key technologies available in the AI market and explained the differences between traditional artificial intelligence and its generative solutions.
Patryk also provided practical tips, including assessing a company’s maturity for AI implementation and offered a checklist to support the process. He also addressed employees’ fears about automation, showing how to approach the implementation of AI responsibly so that it enriches processes without creating fear.
One key message was to emphasize that AI is not just about algorithms but also about the people who work with them. Technology and employees must work together, complementing rather than replacing each other.
Joint success of TUATARA and ZPL
Both the organizers and workshop participants agreed that the event exceeded all expectations, both in terms of attendance and participant engagement. The sector’s high openness to modern technologies and willingness to explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence in the leasing industry show that it is ready for change.
Thanks to the joint efforts of TUATAR and the Polish Leasing Association, workshop participants gained new skills, knowledge and valuable tools that they can immediately put into practice, optimising their processes and increasing their competitiveness in the market.
