WHO’S NEEDED
We are looking for an individual to join our HR team in the role of Staff & Payroll Specialist. We are looking for an individual who will take full responsibility for Staff & Payroll within our company 😊 The scope of this role will include all activities related to the employment of an individual and their functioning within our organisation - preparing contracts, conducting formal onboarding, maintaining employee records and calculating payroll. It will also include full benefits administration, reporting of employees to all necessary institutions and liaising with external service providers.
WHAT’S THE JOB?
- Preparation of contracts, annexes and necessary certificates for employees and associates. Maintaining the necessary employee records.
- Management of health and safety training and occupational medical examinations.
- Managing the Płatnik system - including registering and deregistering employees and associates with the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and preparing monthly and annual reports.
- Management of employees' sick leave - verification in the system, calculation of benefits, correspondence with ZUS, contact with employees
- Management of garnishments. Preparation of benefit letters including Z-3, RP-7.
- Coordination of termination and off-boarding process.
- Ensuring data quality in Optima, uploading data into the system
- Payroll or close cooperation with an external payroll provider - preparation of data for payroll (e.g. benefits, sick leave, overtime, bonuses, bailiffs, etc.), timely calculation, checking the correctness of calculations - let's work out the best working model in this area together! 😊.
- Benefit management in the organisation (management and operational implementation of activities - additions, deletions, cooperation with suppliers, price negotiations)
- Provide active support to the team and management on HR and payroll issues.
- Monitoring changes in legislation and implementing the resulting obligations within the agreed timeframe.
- Drafting, reviewing and amending the company's rules and regulations, e.g. remuneration, public relations, etc.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Very good, practical knowledge of labour law and social security regulations.
- Very good, practical knowledge of the Płatnik programme and MS Office programmes, in particular Excel.
- Knowledge and skills in the establishment of the employment relationship, civil law contracts, B2B contracts, course of employment, termination of employment, holidays, maintenance of personal files.
- Practice in calculating salaries and maintaining personnel files.
- Experience in managing benefits in an organisation.
- Self-motivated, conscientious and meticulous in action, ability to think analytically.
- Communication skills and internal customer orientation.
- Ability to plan and organise own working time.
APPRECIATED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of trends/most common practices in technology companies.
- Knowledge of HR and payroll software - COMARCH Optima preferred.
- Experience with HR analytics.
