The funding process and the use of data
The presentation focused on a detailed description of the financing process, which, although it appears simple, is in fact complex and requires advanced coordination of various activities, from the offer to the loan application to the after-sales service. Marcin highlighted that financial institutions need to manage assets in a dynamic way, adapting to the changing needs of customers and the market.
Marcin pointed out that the data collected by the leasing company should be used to improve customer service and create new financial products. Technologies such as artificial intelligence and automated systems can support these processes, increasing efficiency and delivering a more personalised service.
Pay-as-you-go and circular economy
During his presentation, Marcin discussed the potential uses of mobile apps in the financing process, which can provide better identity verification, integration with banks and automation of many steps in the process. He emphasised the importance of hyper-personalisation and dynamic customisation of offers based on the data collected, which could lead to innovative financing models such as dynamic lease instalments that depend on the actual use of the vehicle.
He concluded by encouraging attendees to think about how data and technology can shape the future of financial products, highlighting the need to integrate front-office, middle-office and back-office systems to ensure a consistent and efficient customer experience.
As Stanislaw Lem said, ‘without knowledge there is no imagination, and there is no knowledge without imagination’. We need to build on what we already know in order to be able to imagine the future and contemplate what lies ahead. I therefore invite you to explore history and imagine, using the experiences of our clients, so that we can better understand what knowledge we have of our processes and how our imagination allows us to build forward-looking approaches to these processes.
