What is Cognitive Automation
In the first part of the webinar, Marcin Kluczyk talks about Cognitive Automation as a concept, defines the technologies that can be described as cognitive automation and explains how does it help in process automation. He also shortly summarizes the products that are presented during the webinar that are crucial for the use cases presented in the second part of the webinar. You will also learn how cognitive technologies contribute to:
- cost reduction,
- revenue growth,
- raising customer service to the highest level.
What is Cognitive Automation in general as a concept? We can say that cognitive automation means that it is a technology which imitates human behavior, using some of the skills typical to human perception. So what is it all about? There is no single solution that is a cognitive product. However, a lot of different technologies or a lot of different products combined together can lead to process automation. Marcin Kluczyk

Detailed use cases of applications in the energy and mining industry
The first demo concerns the example of a customer who wants to apply for a new connection. The second use case illustrates the example of an existing customer who wants to change the parameters of the connection. The third, on the other hand, is an example of verifying and extracting data directly from an attachment.
Use cases will illustrate how a Virtual Assistant in the form of Actionbot and IBM Watson Assistant technology, SensID with document understanding technology, combined with an efficient case management system from IBM comprehensively support the client. It navigates, suggests answers, gives advice, verifies identity and document types in real time, or informs about missing data in documents. Combined, Actionbot, SensID and IBM Case Manager are examples of cognitive technology that mimics human behavior.
